We never store your online banking credentials. Your banking credentials that you provide in the app are only used once to authenticate your identity with your bank so that you can initiate transfers and withdrawals into Circle Invest.

We use bank-level security measures to protect your personal information. Your password, account information, address, last 4 digits of your social security number, and other sensitive data are fully encrypted. Our mobile app also communicates securely using SSL and 256 bit encryption. In addition you can enable screen locking by using TouchID, FaceID or a Fingerprint.

All USD balances are backed by FDIC insurance for up to $250,000. For more information on that, see Section 12 of our User Agreement.
