We leverage our relationship with Circle's trading desk in order to deliver competitive prices and source all crypto assets offered on Circle Invest. The trading desk, Circle Trade, is one of the largest liquidity providers of crypto assets in the world.

After Circle Invest sources the coin from Circle Trade, we apply a markup of on average 1% to each buy and sell that a customer makes in their Invest account. When purchasing coin from Circle, this markup makes our price slightly higher than the average price found on various other exchanges at that time, and when selling coin back to Circle, the price will be slightly lower.

Most companies add fixed fees on top of this markup. We don’t! We pass our competitive rates directly to you with no additional fees.
