On April 28, 2022, the Circle Invest mobile app started the process of discontinuing functionality, as well as support, for all US customers.
Most of our customers’ accounts and funds were migrated to the Voyager platform at the end of March 2020. However, due to regulatory considerations in certain states, we were unable to migrate all customer accounts to the Voyager platform.
Timeline of events:
04/28/22: Depositing money and recurring buys has been disabled. You will now only be able to trade and cash out funds to your linked bank account.
08/29/22: Trade and Sell functionality has been disabled. If any remaining crypto holdings in your Circle Invest account were not sold by this date, Circle Invest converted your crypto balance into USD, using the fair market price at the day and time of trading.
If any remaining crypto holdings in your Circle Invest account were not sold by August 29, 2022, Circle Invest converted your crypto balance into USD using the fair market price at the day and time of trading. Any unclaimed funds will be transferred to the relevant state authority in accordance with applicable unclaimed property laws. If such funds were transferred, you will need to directly contact the unclaimed property office of the state you listed in your Circle Invest account and make a claim for those funds.
